A Newsletter About The Practice of Faith

by Hugh Hollowell

Praxis is an ancient Greek word that means practice or action. For many people of faith, this is where it all breaks down – we know what, in theory, we should be doing.  It is the doing of it where we lose our way.

Praxis is also the name of my mostly-weekly newsletter, where I talk about Christian faith as a practice.

Christianity not as a belief system, but as a life system

This is not your mother’s Christian newsletter. If you sign up, you will get a weekly email with no spam, no sales pitch (I am selling nothing), no cheezy simplistic answers, and no pithy inspirational crap.

This is about living our faith – not believing this thing or that thing. A faith that is not primarily concerned with what happens in the afterlife, but is focused on transforming ourselves and the world right now.

Or, as my friend Peter Rollins says, it’s about Heaven before we die.
